Here, guests have the option to either take a boat to seal island to view the seal or visit the market for some shopping. Today Hout bay is best known as a fishing port. commercial fishing, mainly for snoek. the neighborhood is among the best fish and chips area in town.

A photo opportunity will be on the program along one of the most scenic drives in the world. Chapman's peak is one of the tourist attractions not to be miss en route to the cape of good hope. We will stop at the view point to take panoramic views of hout bay, the sentinel mountain and Noordhoek beach unfold from numerous view sites.

Pass By: Simon's Town, Simon's Town, Western Cape
A long and proud naval tradition is evident where-ever one goes in this port, with its steep cobbled streets, victorian buildings and distinct nautical atmosphere. Simons town was used as winter anchorage for the vessels of the dutch east Indian company after the 1743. After the Second British occupation in 1806, a whaling station made its appearance. in 1814 a new harbor was constructed, and this became the base of the South Atlantic squadron of the royal navy. A statue of the famous great dane, able seaman Just Nuisance, who befriended British sailors during the second world war, stands in Jubilee Square.

Curving south into the Atlantic ocean like an eroded sickle, the cape peninsula has always presented a fearsome challenge to navigators rounding the tip of Africa. The southern tip, is a place of pounding rollers, howling winds and a storm-lashed coastline, that has claimed many ships down the centuries. The cape of good hope nature reserve covers 7700 ha of coastal scrubland and incorporates some 40 km coastline. A funicular service ferries visitors to the summit of cape point and to its old lighthouse, built in 1860. Far below is the powerful modern lighthouse, which may be reached via a steep zigzag path. the cape-point is also known as the meeting place of the cold Benguela from the Atlantic ocean and the warm Agulhas or Mozambique current from the Indian ocean.

Pass By: Kalk Bay, Kalk Bay, Western Cape
Kalk Bay is a fishing village on the coast of False Bay, It lies between the ocean and sharply rising mountainous heights that are buttressed by crags of grey Table Mountain Sandstone. Kalkbaai (Lime Bay), this derives from the vast deposits of mussel shells found here, which early settlers burned to make lime for construction. Lime kilns to roast mussel shells are still found along the West coast. The railway from the central business district of Cape Town to Simon's Town passes through Kalk Bay and in some places the line is only meters from the water's edge. The town is also renowned for the more than 80 sandstone caves that honeycomb the backing hills.
Stop At: Muizenberg, Muizenberg, Western Cape
Muizenberg has a fine, long beach that in effect stretches all the way round the top of False Bay to the Strand, a distance of over 20 km. It is considered to be the main surfing spot in Cape Town and is currently home to a surfing community, centered on the popular Surfer's Corner. False Bay, known for its population of White Sharks, also has a shark watch service that operates from Muizenberg, signaling alerts when sharks come in proximity of bathers at the main beach and surfers at Surfer's Corner. Above Muizenberg there is a line of steep cliffs that is very popular as a venue for rock climbing. However, certain parts of the cliff are off-limits to climbers when birds nest on the ledges.
